Al-Ni-Co permanent magnet is a kind of alloy consisting of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, iron and other trace metal elements. Various combinations of these elements lead to different magnetic characteristics and product uses. There are two processes for manufacturing Al-Ni-Co permanent magnets: casting and sintering. Casting can be used for the production of products in various sizes and shapes; Sintering is limited to the production of products in small sizes. The dimensional tolerance and workability of semi-finished products made by sintering are better than those of casting products, although their magnetic characteristics are slightly inferior to those of casting products. Among permanent magnetic materials, casting Al-Ni-Co permanent magnets are widely used in the production of various instruments and meters as well as in other application fields.
