Rubber magnet is a kind of compound material consisting of iron oxide body magnetic powder and rubber. Its products are manufactured by extrusion and rolling. Since rubber magnet is highly moldable, its finished or semi-finished products can be easily cut, punched, slit or coated with other materials. In addition, they are less prone to demagnetizing, highly corrosion resistant and cheap as a result of rich source of raw materials. Rubber magnets fall into two categories: isotropic rubber magnet and anisotropic rubber magnet. The former has a relatively weak magnetism and therefore its products are mainly used for refrigerator magnets, printed maters and advertising/publicity articles. The latter has a high magnetism and therefore its products are widely used in the production of micro motors and magnetic toys, etc.
